My Hive Light is offline, how do I reset it?
First, make sure that the light fitting or lamp is turned on, either at the wall or the light switch.
Now turn your Hive Light off at the wall or light switch, then turn it back on. If the light is working correctly it should turn on at full brightness.
Wait 10 seconds and then refresh your Hive app, the Hive Light should now be showing as online.
If your Hive Light is still offline, check that any other Hive devices (lights, plugs or signal boosters) between the affected light and your Hive Hub are also turned on.
If you have followed all of the above steps and your Hive Light it is still not connected then you should reset it. Turn the light off and on six times at the wall or light switch, leaving a second’s pause between each flip of the switch. The light should then flash off and on again to show that it is in pairing mode.
Now open your Hive app. Tap the top left corner to open the menu, and then tap 'Install Devices'. Tap on 'Other Hive Devices' and follow the instructions to install your Hive Light. You should see the bulb flash once more when it has been paired to your Hive Hub.
And that's it, you’re done!
