What's changed in the new Hive app?

Our Hive app has had a complete refresh so it looks and feels even better. It’s now easier to navigate and even more intuitive. It will give you even better control of the Hive products in your home and make it even easier to install new ones with simple set-up steps and images.

What’s more, we've improved the way the app works on larger devices, like the iPad.  While the Hive app’s changing, you don’t need to change a thing: all your settings and product set-ups will stay the same.

Here's what's new:
  • Now you can change your email address and phone number from within the app
  • Quicker to get to what you need - our new navigation menu is accessed from the top left, and list view toggle is at the top right side
  • Settings for your Hive devices will be on the top right hand side of the control screens
  • You'll find Groups in the main navigation menu
  • New icons for your Hive devices in the app so they’re easier to recognise and use
  • Even easier to edit your dashboard using a shortcut at the bottom of the screen
  • Seamlessly switch between schedule, actions and control using the tabs at the top of the Hive device control screens
  • Quickly turn Actions on or off from the My Actions page
  • If you have an iOS device, the pin lock will be supported by FaceID and TouchID
  • Set up Mimic mode and turn it on or off from the Lights setting pages
Hive Hint: Your settings and schedules won’t change when you move the new Hive app.
