Hive at CES 2019 Earns CES 2019 Innovation Award

Another year, another great few days for the Hive team at CES 2019. Among the highlights in Vegas this year: the big debut of Hive Link – our new service to help carers look after loved ones using smart tech.

Recently launched in the U.K., Hive Link was named a CES® 2019 Innovation Awards Honoree in the Tech for a Better World category. The Innovation Award celebrates the best in product design and engineering for new consumer technology products.

Dr. Liam Fox, U.K. International Trade Secretary, said “I’m delighted that Centrica Hive has been named a CES 2019 Innovation Awards Honouree for its new smart home service. This award is a fantastic example of the UK’s position as a leader in the global connected care market.

“Thanks to the work of British companies like Centrica Hive, the UK will remain at the forefront of designing the future of smart home technology to meet the diverse needs of an ageing society. And I’m pleased that my international economic department has been able to support the business in expanding its presence across the globe.”

Not to be outdone, we unveiled our shiny new Hive View Outdoor smart camera.
