Enter your Hive username and password and follow the onscreen instructions.
Once you have enabled and linked both skills, you need to get Alexa to discover devices for your smart home skill if she hasn’t already. You can do this by saying ‘Alexa discover devices’ Now the fun part. Ask Alexa to control Hive. Check a full list of things you can control by clicking here.

Help and Support
This could be because you are trying to use the smart home Hive skill, and Alexa doesn’t recognise the device name.
Try asking ‘Alexa, discover my devices’. Alexa will look for your device name automatically once an hour, so if you have changed the name of your device remember to ask her to discover it again!
When you use our custom Hive skill you might struggle if your device name isn’t one in our extensive list.
There are around 12,000 device names that Alexa will recognise. If she's struggling to control yours it could be that it isn't in her database yet. We update this list on a regular basis, but to save time we'd recommend renaming your device to one of the 12,000 names she can recognise. You can check this by clicking here (don’t worry, you can search the database. No need to read the 12,000 names.)
To change your device name
Login to Hive, go to ‘Manage devices’ and click on the device you want to edit. In the Hive app, tap on the pencil icon to edit the name. On desktop, click ‘Manage’ to the right of the device. The next screen you see will have a box you can edit with the device name in. On both the app and desktop you'll see a confirmation message when the change has successfully saved.
Hive is all about giving you control, so Alexa will always ask unless you have told her exactly which zone, light or plug you want to control.
If you're not sure what they're called, head to your Hive app or login online. Go to the ‘Manage devices’ screen to see a list of all your device names.
You can control Hive Active Heating, Hive Active Light LED bulbs, and Hive Active Plug smart plugs with Alexa.
