How do I set up heating and hot water schedules using the Hive app?
With Hive Active Heating, you can set a separate schedule for every day of the week – with up to six time slots per day. So your heating's on when you need it, and off when you don't. To set or edit a schedule, just log in to your Hive app then:
- Go to your app dashboard, where your Hive devices live, and tap ‘Heating’
- Tap ‘Schedule’ at the top of the screen
- Tap the day for which you’d like to set a schedule
- Tap the first heating time slot and choose the time you'd like your heating to turn on
- Select your desired temperature and when you'd like the schedule to end
- Tap ‘Done’
To quickly copy a schedule from one day to another:
- Tap on the day you wish to copy
- Tap the three dots in the bottom right of the Schedule screen
- Tap on the days you’d like to copy the schedule to
- Tap ‘Apply’
You can edit your schedules whenever you like by repeating the first three steps and then changing the day or time to your new preferences. Just remember to save your changes.
