What does the Hive Hub 360 do?
The Hive Hub 360 is our most advanced hub yet and connects to your broadband router via WiFi. It detects sounds around your home and sends you a notification for:
Smoke alarm / carbon monoxide alarm within 10m
Glass in windows or doors breaking within 6m
Dog barking within 5m
Please note: sounds will be picked up "in the same air" i.e. if there are no doors shut between the sound source and the hub or between different buildings.
The Hive Hub 360 also:
Records sounds and lets you listen to them in the Hive app
Connects through WiFi and can be placed anywhere in your home
Keeps your Hive devices working together if your broadband goes down
Why do I need a Hive Hub 360?
The Hive Hub 360 connects your Hive devices to the Hive app using WiFi. If the Hive Hub 360 is not connected to your Hive devices you won't be able to control them remotely via the Hive app. If it’s not paired with a Hive Hub 360, Hive Active Heating will only work in standalone mode (offline control).
Hive View and Hive View Outdoor don't require a Hive Hub 360 as their functions differ from all other Hive products.
Do I need a new hub for additional Hive products if I already have one?
No, you can set up your Hive products on your existing hub.
Does this product work with voice control?
Yes, this Hive product can be used with voice control such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple HomeKit, Siri Shortcuts and IFTTT.
What devices can I get the Hive app on?
You can get the Hive app on many smartphones, tablets and the Apple Watch. iOS or Android devices must be running an up-to-date operating system.
What are your delivery options?
Can I return this product?
Yes.
If you’ve purchased Hive products directly through our website or over the phone, you’ll need to contact us within 14 days (starting from the day you receive your Hive products).
If a British Gas engineer has installed your Hive products and you’d like to return them, you’ll need to let us know within 14 days from the point of installation.
You can contact us on web chat and we’ll provide you with a returns number and send you a returns label. Print the label out and send it to our warehouse, free of charge. Once we receive your product, we’ll aim to process your refund within 5 working days.
What's the warranty period?
Hive products come with a 1-year standard warranty.
If you want to increase your warranty, you can join Hive Live for £2.99 per month and get ongoing warranty on your Hive products.
