Super-smart and hassle-free
Constantly watching the grid to find the best times to use or store energy sounds like a lot of work. But our software does it all for you, then calculates your savings and takes them off your energy bill. You can get the benefits of Intelligent Energy Management with very little impact to your daily life.
Our first Intelligent Energy feature
The longer your car is plugged in, the more opportunities we have to charge your car with cheaper electricity. Stay plugged in for less than 6 hours and your discount will be 2p per kWh. But plug in continuously for over 6 hours and all your charging will get the top discount of 4p per kWh. If you are on a Time of Use Tariff we’ll only charge your car during your Off Peak window.
You’ll need to have a Hive EV Charger and be a British Gas energy customer to use the SmartCharge feature and by enabling using SmartCharge we’ll give you a credit each month with money back directly on your British Gas bill.
