How can we help you?
Which thermostat do I have?
This article will help you identify your Hive thermostat
Hive 2 Wireless Thermostat for combi boilers
This thermostat is wireless, so you can move it around your house and make sure the temperature is right where you are. You can also mount it to the wall if you prefer having it in the same place. It takes 4x AA batteries and has a separate receiver (SLR1) wired to your boiler to control it. The model number is SLT3 (our newer touchscreen model is SLT3c)
Hive 2 Wireless Thermostat for conventional boilers with a hot water tank
This version has all the same features as above but is for conventional boilers (boilers with a separate hot water tank).
Hive 2 Wireless Touchscreen Thermostat
This thermostat is wireless also, so you can move it around your house and make sure the temperature is right where you are. You can also mount it to the wall if you prefer having it in the same place. It takes 4x AA batteries and has a separate receiver (SLR1) wired to your boiler to control it. Works with combi and conventional systems. The model number for this thermostat is SLT3c.
Hive 2 Wired Thermostat
This model is a good option if you want to connect to your existing thermostat’s wiring and put it in the same place. It’s also good if you have a larger home, thick walls, or if your boiler is difficult to reach. We design this product for combi boilers. It does not provide control of a hot water tank. It requires 3x AA batteries and is wired directly to your boiler to control it. The model number is SLT5.
Hive Mini Thermostat for combi boilers
Our newest thermostat is also wireless, has the same ability to be moved around the home or wall mounted and requires 4x AAA batteries and is only suitable for combi boilers where only heating control is required. It has a separate receiver (SLR1c) wired to your boiler to control it. The model number is SLT6/SLT6b.
Hive Mini Thermostat for conventional boilers
Our newest thermostat is also wireless, so you can move it around your house and make sure the temperature is right where you are, or it can be mounted on the wall if you prefer having it in the same place. It takes 4x AAA batteries and has a separate receiver (SLR2c) wired to your boiler to control it. Its model number is SLT6/SLT6b. This is suited to conventional boilers where heating and hot water control is required.
